Culture Classes Online
Tuesday Classes are for Returning Students.
This is an online class that uses the application Zoom to connect with Snoqualmie Indian Tribe Culture Department staff via video call conferences. It is not required to have a Zoom account or for your video to be on during these sessions.
All classes are open to Tribal Members and their families. It is not required for participants to have supplies for these classes. The Culture Department is also offering a one-time Culture Care Package that will include more supplies and materials. These care packages are not required for classes, and it is not required to attend a class if you are requesting a care package.
Times for each session will vary, but private sessions can also be scheduled for one-on-one instructions. You can also find some of the class topics posted as video or slide tutorials by visiting the Culture Class Tutorials page under Media & Resources. Lushootseed language resources are also available on the Language page.
For the Lushootseed classes we are asking that the participants be middle school aged or older to participate on their own. Younger students will need to have an adult learning alongside them to help.
